# Law360 Lists Kelley Drye Attorneys as Counsel to GT Advanced Technologies’ Creditors Committee in Settlement with Apple

Partner [James S. Carr](/Our-People/James-S-Carr) and special counsel [Jason R. Adams](/Our-People/Jason-R-Adams) are cited as Counsel to GT Advanced Technologies Inc.’s creditors committee in a $439 million settlement with Apple Inc. in the *Law360* article ​“GTAT Creditors Worry Apple Getting Off Easy In $439M Deal.” The article discusses bankrupt GT Technologies’s agreement to pay back Apple’s loans for its failed venture to create sapphire for scratch resistant screens on iPhones and other devices. GTAT’s creditors committee, however, believes the deal is unfair and overly generous to Apple, effectively asking the court to exercise conjecture in measuring the benefits of the settlement.
