Partner [Robert D. Bickford, Jr.](/Our-People/Robert-D-Bickford-Jr) and the firm are noted in *Law360* article ​“Kelley Drye, Simpson Thacher Guide $516M NYT Condo Deal” as lead counsel to REIT Columbia Property Trust Inc. in its $516 million purchase of the commercial condo unit at the iconic New York Times Building. Speaking about the added complexity of the property being a commercial condo, Bickford said, ​“It involves reviewing the condominium documents. In effect, Columbia will control all of the office space as distinct from the retail space.”
