# Kelley Drye’s Alysa Hutnik Cited in *Digiday*

Kelley Drye partner and chair of the [Privacy and Security](/Our-Practices/Regulatory-Government-Relations/Privacy-and-Information-Security-Counseling-and-Co) practice, [Alysa Hutnik](/Our-People/Alysa-Z-Hutnik), was quoted in *Digiday* article on the boundaries of California’s new privacy law. The privacy law — which allows California residents to regulate companies’ ability to sell their personal information — has been ambiguous, so people have turned to the courts for clarity. ​“Plaintiffs are trying to pressure-test all possible avenues,” said Alysa Hutnik.
