# Kelley Drye Secures Judgment for Pro Bono Client in Texas

Kelley Drye attorneys partnered with the Houston Volunteer Lawyers (HVL) to seek justice for a pro bono client wronged by his former landlord. After HVL secured victories for our client in the Justice of Peace and County Court, the Kelley Drye team partnered with HVL to draft the appellate brief to Texas First Court of Appeals. The Court decided the case based on the written brief, and Kelley Drye was able to secure a judgment for the client.
