# Kelley Drye Represents Domestic Brass Sheet and Strip Producers in Trade Court Victory

The U.S. Court of International Trade issued a decision November 7, 2007, in favor of domestic brass sheet and strip producers represented by Kelley Drye. The case arose from a finding by the U.S. International Trade Commission in a ​“sunset review” of an antidumping duty order. Wieland-Werke, a German brass producer, challenged the Commission’s finding that imports of brass sheet and strip from Germany were likely to injure a U.S. industry if the order was revoked. Rejecting arguments by Wieland-Werke that the Commission must identify an economic rationale for such actions, the Court sustained the Commission’s finding in the domestic industry’s favor.

Kelley Drye Partner Kathleen Cannon argued the case before the Court.
