# Kelley Drye Litigation Team Obtains Dismissal of Class Action Against Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories

*Mealey’s Daily News* reports that litigation partner[ Philip Robben](/Our-People/Philip-D-Robben) and special counsel [Melissa Byroade ](/Our-People/Melissa-E-Byroade)obtained a dismissal of a punitive class action for Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited regarding alleged claims that generic companies had inflated their average wholesale prices which violate Pennsylvania’s Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law, and the consumer protection laws of forty-eight additional states and two territories. The court held that Dr. Reddy’s was not subject to personal jurisdiction in Pennsylvania.
