# KDW Represents Albemarle Corporation; Negotiates Employee Benefits in Acquisition

Kelley Drye represented Albemarle Corporation in the employee benefits portion of a transaction with Akzo Nobel, in which Akzo Nobel will receive approximately $700 million for its refinery catalysts unit. Kelley Drye worked on the negotiations with respect to the worldwide employee benefits of Akzo Nobel’s employees from 19 countries, including the United States and the Netherlands.
