Partner [John Villafranco](https://www.kelleydrye.com/people/john-e-villafranco) was quoted by Law​.com in ​“Trump Dealt Blow to FTC’s Stature With Purge of Democrats, Ex-Commissioners Say.” The article touches on the recent dismissal of two FTC commissioners and how that may affect the agency’s stature in the eyes of courts and the companies it regulates.

“I think it does make staff and the majority button things up a bit more. I believe the FTC staff appreciates getting the hard questions and concerns from the minority commissioners because it helps them put together a stronger case,” Villafranco said.
