# IP Law360 Reports on Kelley Drye Representation in Court’s Decision To Rehear Tafas Case

In an article, ​“Fed. Circ. to Reconsider *Tafas v. Doll*,” *IP Law360* noted Kelley Drye’s representation of Dr. Triantafyllos Tafas. The article focused on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit’s decision to grant a combined petition by inventor, Dr. Tafas, and pharmaceutical firm, GlaxoSmithKline PLC, for a rehearing *en banc* of the case, *Tafas v. Doll*. The Federal Circuit vacated a March 20, 2009, ruling that restored most of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s controversial rules aimed at curtailing prosecution abuses and cutting down the patent application backlog.
