# International Trade Attorney Quoted on Antidumping and Countervailing Duties on Chinese Paper Imports

Michael Coursey, a Partner in the International Trade Practice Group, was interviewed by *Inside US-China Trade* about a case involving glossy paper from China that is currently under review by the US Department of Commerce. At issue is whether a delay in Commerce’s preliminary antidumping finding will affect a countervailing duty (“CVD”) case against the same imports. Mr. Coursey commented that, if a delay caused the provisional CVD duty to be in place for longer than the 4 months allowed under WTO rules, the United States would likely have to stop collecting the provisional duty until Commerce reached a final determination in the case.
