# Hans Maxime Quoted on Tariff Refunds

Trade Analyst [Hans Maxime](https://www.kelleydrye.com/people/hans-r-maxime) was quoted by Bloomberg News in their article ​“How to Get a Tariff Refund.” The article covers the processes that companies are using for getting refunds from the government for the paid tariffs that the Supreme Court struck down in February 2026—companies can sue, sell, or wait and see. If an importer would like to pursue a refund, it must enroll its bank details in a separate ACE portal.

“‘If you do nothing else, go enroll today,’ says Hans. While they await details on what the CAPE process will entail—and whether Trump will appeal the trade court’s broad order to refund all IEEPA duties—importers should start getting their paperwork ready.”
