# Eight Kelley Drye Attorneys Among the Honorees for New York County Lawyers Association Conspicuous Service Award

On Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at a Virtual Awards Celebration, the New York County Lawyers Association will present its Conspicuous Service Award to the 256 principal Authors of the treatise **Commercial Litigation in New York State Courts**.

Included in the award for their work on the treatise will be Kelley Drye partners [Jon Cooperman](/Our-People/Jonathan-K-Cooperman), [Bob Crotty](/Our-People/Robert-E-Crotty), [Bill Escobar](/Our-People/William-A-Escobar), [Mike Lynch](/Our-People/Michael-C-Lynch), [Neil Merkl](/Our-People/Neil-Merkl), [Philip Robben](/Our-People/Philip-D-Robben), and [Rob Steiner](/Our-People/Robert-I-Steiner). Partner [Bob Haig](/Our-People/Robert-L-Haig) is the Editor-in-Chief of this treatise.

Prior recipients of this Award, which NYCLA has not conferred since 2014, include former Chief Judge of the State of New York Jonathan Lippman, former New York Court of Appeals Judge George Bundy Smith, and the Honorable Betty Weinberg Ellerin, the first woman to serve as the Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division for the First Judicial Department.
