# Commercial Dispute Resolution Magazine Quotes Partner Philip D. Robben on ICC’s Plans for NY Office

The *Commercial Dispute Resolution* article ​“ICC To Open New York Secretariat Office” announced the ICC International Court of Arbitration will open an office in New York City. It quoted ICC Court President John Beechy, who said this is a significant development, reaffirming the ICC’s commitment to North America. The article then noted, ​“Many US-based practitioners welcomed the move. ​‘I think this is a very positive development because it gives US-based practitioners local access to another premier arbitral institution,’ said **Philip Robben**, a partner at Kelley Drye in New York.”
