# *Citizen Tribune* Quotes Partner David Frulla on New Harassment Law

Partner [David Frulla ](/Our-People/David-E-Frulla)was quoted in the *Citizen Tribune* article ​“Lobbyists also targeted by ​‘sweeping’ new laws meant to curb sexual harassment in Springfield.” The article discusses new state laws and guidelines in Springfield, IL aimed at lawmakers, their staffs and lobbying firms in regards to sexual harassment. Many still complain about the way complaints are handled, and David thinks it will take time for victims of harassment to trust the new system. ​“They’re going to need to be convinced that the process is trustworthy for this to work at all,” he said. ​“When there are allegations stacking up for a couple of years, the legislature’s got a hole to dig out of.”
