# Bloomberg Law Quotes Wayne D’Angelo on EPA PFAS Rule

Environmental practice co-chair [Wayne D’Angelo](https://www.kelleydrye.com/people/wayne-j-dangelo) was quoted by *Bloomberg Law* on the EPA’s final rule designating two PFAS as hazardous substances, a move which D’Angelo describes as ​“a recipe for incredibly expansive liability for entities that heretofore would not have considered themselves exposed to environmental policy matters.”

The new rule focuses on PFOA and PFOS, two of the most commonly used PFAS.

“If you contributed a molecule, you could be in,” D’Angelo added. ​“It’s not always the parties that are most liable, but the parties that are the most viable—anyone with pockets.”
