# Bar & Bench Notes Deepak Nambiar Elected Partner

*Bar & Bench* reported that [Deepak Nambiar](/Our-People/Deepak-Nambiar) was elected partner in the New York office of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. The article noted Deepak is qualified to practice both in New York and India and that he focuses on a wide range of general commercial matters, with special emphasis on technology licensing, mergers, acquisitions, and outsourcing transactions. It also stated he earned his J.D. from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and holds an LL.M from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, and that prior to joining Kelley Drye, Deepak worked as an in-house counsel for Glaxo SmithKline in India.
