# Bankruptcy Partner Interviewed Live on BBC

Partner [Jim Carr ](/Our-People/James-S-Carr)was interviewed on two live daily BBC network news programs regarding Russian oil company Yukos, and its filing for bankruptcy in Houston. The interviews focused on why Yukos filed for bankruptcy in the United States and what impact this filing will have on other foreign companies facing similar problems. Jim appeared on the network’s ​“World Business Report,” which is aired around the globe, and the ​“Business Today” segment, which is aired for the BBC’s U.K. audience.
