# *American Metal Market* Quotes Partner John Herrmann in Aluminum Foil Case

Partner [John Herrmann](/Our-People/John-M-Herrmann-II) was quoted in the *American Metal Market* article ​“ITC finds injury in aluminum foil case.” The International Trade Commission voted to continue the case, brought by the Aluminum Association pursuing anti-dumping and countervailing duties of aluminum foil imports from China. The ITC stated there was ​“a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of aluminum foil that are allegedly subsidized and sold in the United States at less than fair value.” ​“This affirmative decision is an important first step in remedying the devastating injury that the flood of unfairly-traded imports of aluminum foil from China have had on the domestic industry,” noted John.
