# American Metal Market Notes Kelley Drye’s Representation of the Wire Rod Coalition and Quotes Partner Paul C. Rosenthal on Chinese Imports

Partners [Paul Rosenthal](/Our-People/Paul-C-Rosenthal), [Kathy Cannon](/Our-People/Kathleen-W-Cannon), and [Alan Luberda](/Our-People/R-Alan-Luberda) were listed by *American Metal Market* as representation for the majority of the companies that comprise the Wire Rod Coalition in the article ​“U.S. Trade Case Filed Against China Wire Rod.” The coalition filed anti-dumping and countervailing duty petitions with the U.S. Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration and the U.S. International Trade Commission against imports of carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from China. Paul explained that ​“imports of unfairly low-priced and subsidized wire rod from China have devastated pricing in the U.S. market. The domestic industry looks forward to the opportunity to present its case... to obtain relief from unfairly traded imports of wire rod.”
