On February 8, 2011, partners Mark L. Austrian and Christie Grymes Thompson participated in a webinar presentation, in conjunction with the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, to discuss recent updates to U.S. and Canadian consumer product safety laws. The presentation provided an overview of the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s (“CPSC”) new publicly-available consumer product safety database, Canada’s recently enacted consumer product safety legislation, and practical advice to help companies comply with the new consumer product safety laws and regulations.
