The phenomenon of ​“Authorized Agents” ie: entities submitting consumer opt out requests on behalf of a group of individuals has been taking place for several years now. Since online consumer opt-out/do not share or sell/access requests in general are a relatively new and ever evolving practice, the ways in which to legally and ethically respond to these requests is still a matter of debate. This webinar will be a lively discussion on the operational and legal issues involved in decision making about how companies can best respond to these requests.
