On June 24, 2014 partner [Thomas W. Cohen](/Our-People/Thomas-W-Cohen) spoke at the Fiber to the Home 2014 Conference and Expo in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. His session, ​“Regulatory Considerations in FTTH Deployment” discusses how new fiber to the home deployment costs are heavily impacted by the need for government approvals at all levels and failure to properly plan and negotiate for these approvals can undermine the business case. Mr. Cohen outlined recent developments and examples with Rights of Way, Pole Attachments, and Video Franchising.
