# Privacy and Data Security in the Cloud

Cloud computing promises a number of efficiencies and other benefits to governments, commercial enterprises and other users, including ease of access, affordability, centralization and flexibility. But cloud computing also raises a number of legal questions about the privacy and security of information stored in the cloud and various regulatory compliance and other issues relating to the effects of storing information on a third-party server rather than in-house. These questions and issues often have a different answer in each jurisdiction. Indeed, legal obligations in different countries may be in tension or, in some instances, in conflict with each other.

Please join us on April 29th as we explore the various legal issues and questions both in the United States and for cloud services that may be subject to multiple jurisdictions.
