# Partner Barbara Hoey Presents at UTSA’s 75th Annual Conference

Partner Barbara Hoey presented at UTSA’s 75th Annual Conference: ​“Employees Use of Technology in the Workplace: What They Say or You Say In E-mail Can Come Back to Haunt You.” Ms. Hoey will discuss how and why every employer should effectively manage employee use of technology to prevent abuse of resources, including e-mail, the Internet, blogging, chat rooms, cell phones, Blackberrys and PDAs. Ms. Hoey will provide conference attendees with advice on how one can lawfully monitor the use of technology as well how to best handle situations of employee technology abuse. The conference took place in Bermuda.
