International Trade partner Eric McClafferty spoke at a conference hosted by the North Texas District Export Council. The event, titled, ​“Non-U.S. Trade Controls: A Deeper Dive,” covered trade compliance on an international scale.

Featuring international speakers from several world regions, the event covered how differences in trade controls can affect a company’s global operations and how trade controls in other countries differ from U.S. trade controls. Additionally, the conference covered the types of operations that subject U.S. companies and their affiliates to controls and the conflicts that exist between U.S. trade controls and controls in other countries.
