On September 24, 2013 partner [Allan J. Weiner](/Our-People/Allan-J-Weiner) served as an instructor for a course at the Greater Washington Society of CPAs Non Profit Section Meeting. Mr. Weiner’s course, entitled ​“Basic Considerations for Merger and Acquisitions of Nonprofit Organizations,” focused on the basic elements of M&A for not for profit organizations. He discussed business structures, planning matters and transactional elements, including confidentiality agreements, due diligence considerations, primary business terms of agreements.
