# New York Law As an International Standard: Report on the Work of the NYSBA Task Force on New York Law in International Matters

NYSBA Concluding Plenary Session

On May 13, 2011, partner **Robert L. Haig** moderated the Concluding Plenary Session of the New York State Bar Association International Section Global Law Week. That session is entitled ​“New York Law As an International Standard: Report on the Work of the NYSBA Task Force on New York Law in International Matters”. Mr. Haig is a member of the NYSBA Task Force which has issued a report proposing ways to promote the use of New York law as the governing law in international agreements and to encourage parties to use New York as a forum for resolution of international disputes.
