# May 2011 Consumer Protection Update

On June 20, 2011, partner [Gonzalo Mon](/Our-People/Gonzalo-E-Mon) spoke at an American Bar Association teleconference hosted by the Consumer Protection, Corporate Counseling and Private Advertising Litigation Committees within the Section of Antitrust. The update summarized the significant cases, settlements and initiatives in consumer protection law during May 2011. Consumer class actions, Lanham Act litigation, and National Advertising Division case decisions were discussed as well.

Participants were given the opportunity to listen in on this update as well as call in for the Q & A portion of the event.
