On September 21, 2011, partner [Gonzalo E. Mon](/Our-People/Gonzalo-E-Mon) spoke at an Association of Corporate Counsel Luncheon Program in Chicago, IL. Mr. Mon participated on the panel, ​“Marketing and Advertising Through Social Media: Key Legal Issues and Strategies for In-House Counsel.” The session discussed issues that in-house counsel should consider when their company leverages social media as a vehicle for advertising and marketing, including publicizing customer endorsements, running promotions, managing user-generated content and addressing intellectual property and right of publicity concerns.
