New York CLE Seminar Series

This program will focus on the new Rules of Professional Conduct that govern New York lawyers that became effective earlier this year. Discussion topics include:

- The history of New York Professional conduct codes through 2009
- An explanation of the changes made to the New York Code to create the new Rules of Professional conduct
- Risk areas and black letter obligations or prohibitions for avoiding trouble
- Ideas for further ​“modernizing” the new rules

In accordance with the requirements of the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board, this non-transitional continuing legal education program is not approved for the newly admitted attorney within the first two years of admission to the Bar.
