On January 23, 2014 partner [Alysa Zeltzer Hutnik](/Our-People/Alysa-Z-Hutnik) moderated Law Seminars International’s ​“Internet of Things: Compliance Strategies and Upcoming FTC Guidance” Telebriefing. Ms. Hutnik led the discussion on best practices for companies, from providing transparency regarding information collected to understanding the security risks associated with connected devices and appropriately protecting sensitive consumer information. She and the panel also previewed the topics central to the upcoming 2014 FTC spring seminars and provided analysis on relevant issues from the perspective of the FTC and the industry.
