On December 6, 2011, special counsel John M. Herrmann II presented at the Food and Drug Law Institute Enforcement, Litigation and Compliance Conference. Mr. Hermann presented in the session, ​“FSMA & Food Safety.” The session focused on new enforcement tools in FDA’s arsenal, how to comply with the new FDA authority, the enforcement actions and litigation that could affect food manufacturers going forward, how this activity could impact consumers, and implications of the Del Monte cantaloupe case.
