Partners Eric McClafferty and Laurence J. Lasoff presented a seminar titled ​“Export Controls & Economic Sanctions,” to members of the Connecticut Association of Corporate Counsel (CONNACCA) on June 16, 2009. The seminar was held at the Hartford Club, in Hartford, Connecticut. Topics covered included an overview of the key government agencies, as well as the government’s enforcement priorities and objections, the risks of non-compliance, how to manage compliance and how to develop an export management system.
