Partner [Laurence J. Lasoff](/Our-People/Laurence-J-Lasoff) spoke at the International Titanium Association’s Titanium 2013 conference in Las Vegas, NV on October 9. Mr. Lasoff’s session ​“Export Control Reform” addressed the government’s fiscal situation, with a specific focus on the Budget Control Act and sequestration. Mr. Lasoff provided an ​“inside the beltway” outlook on the impact of sequestration on government procurement policy and the upstream defense industry supply chain, including the titanium industry.
