# Effective Deployment of Legal and Compliance Resources: A Risk-Based Approach to Mitigating Exposure and Liabilities

Partner [Matthew Luzadder](/Our-People/Matthew-C-Luzadder) is joining a panel discussion to in-house counsel on ​“Effective Deployment of Legal and Compliance Resources: A Risk-Based Approach to Mitigating Exposure and Liabilities,” during a program hosted by the Association of Corporate Counsel Chicago and Kelley Drye & Warren LLP.

The session will address how in-house counsel are leveraging the use of corporate risk assessments to help guide priorities and to efficiently deploy resources to manage the key risk and compliance functions. The discussion will address how risk assessments can be employed to facilitate discussions with the C-Suite and communicated to regulators to demonstrate the company’s commitment to compliance and methodology for addressing risks.
