On July 31, 2014 partner [Barbara E. Hoey](/Our-People/Barbara-E-Hoey) will speak at the American Conference Institute’s 6th Annual Forum on Defending and Managing Employment Discrimination and Litigation. The conference focuses on the significant changes to employment legislation and employment rights and responsibilities as discrimination litigation remains on the rise. It includes a mix of speakers including in-house counsel, federal and state judges and leading outside counsel from around the nation.

Ms. Hoey will participate in a session entitled ​“Disability, Leaves of Absence and New ADA Litigation Trends: Examining Who Qualifies as Disabled, What Accommodations Qualify as Reasonable, and Lessons Learned for Litigating Leave Claims.” The session will focus on tips, best practices and proven methods for defending against the continuing volume of disability and leave claims.
