On October 23, 2012, of counsel Jodie Z. Bernstein moderated the panel ​“Defining ​‘Abusive’ in ​‘Abusive Practices’” as a part of the Attorneys General Education Program (AGEP) on the Economics of Consumer Protection, hosted by the George Mason University Law & Economics Center. Directed toward attorneys general and senior staff, who frequently handle consumer protection issues, the panel addressed topics such as the economics of financial consumer protection, regulatory cost/benefit analysis with applications under Dodd-Frank, mobile/online privacy and security, and the framing of regulatory policy for the financial services industry.
