On December 13, 2012, partner [James Carr](/Our-People/James-S-Carr) chaired and moderated a program titled ​“Advising Distressed Businesses and Business Bankruptcy Cases” at a New York State Bar Association CLE. Many small businesses become unprofitable and distressed and need counsel regarding the options available to them. The program addressed non-bankruptcy options to troubled businesses and also discussed many of the most important subjects a small business encounters in a bankruptcy case.
