Special Counsel [Céline Guillou](https://www.kelleydrye.com/people/c%C3%A9line-guillou) will present, ​“Advancing Consumer Privacy Rights: Control, Transparency and Choice,” at IAPP’s Privacy. Security. Risk. + AI Governance conference in Seattle, WA. The program will focus on the amended California Consumer Privacy Act, effective January 1, 2027, which will require browsers to offer opt-out preference signals that allow consumers to opt out of the sale and sharing of their personal information across every website they visit. Céline and her fellow panelists will discuss how companies can prepare for this change.
