Partner [Matt Luzadder](/Our-People/Matthew-C-Luzadder) co-led a panel that explored basic risk management tenets, the indemnity provisions included in the Nacha Operating Rules, formal indemnity agreements beyond the Rules and discussed the practicality of indemnities. Speakers also reviewed risk management considerations on entering into indemnity agreements. Attendees came away from the session with an understanding of how indemnities play out and what parties demand of each other. Other presenters included Brian W. Jones, General Counsel of Merrick Bank; Susan A. Levine, Executive Director and Assistant General Counsel of J.P. Morgan Chase; and Devon Marsh, APRP, Senior Director, ACH Network Administration of Nacha.
