# 2007 International Trade Update

Speakers will address the major current developments in international trade law. [Kathy Cannon](https://www.kelleydrye.com/people/kathleen-w-cannon) of Kelley Drye will participate in mock oral arguments before a panel of three ITC judges on a case involving current issues in trade practice. She will demonstrate effective oral advocacy techniques and tactics and the standard of review. The hour-long session will begin at 4:00 PM on February 1.

The two-day *2007 International Trade Update* is proceeded by a special seminar, the *Trade & Customs Law Introduction/Refresher*, on January 31, 2007. Kelley Drye’s will moderate the discussion ​“AD/CVD at the U.S. International Trade Commission,” scheduled for 10:00 - 11:15 AM. The panel will review key pointers on International Trade Commission (ITC) investigations of whether imports cause material injury, as well as presenting data effectively, advocacy in ITC hearings, causation, and other legal questions.
