WILLIAM PIEROTTI Associate
William Pierotti is an associate in the firm’s New York office.  William focuses his practice on litigation.

Prior to joining Kelley Drye, William was a judicial intern for U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska of the Southern District of New York and Justice Ellen Gesmer of the New York State Appellate Division, First Department.

Previously, William was a communications intelligence collection operator for the U.S. Navy for four years.
 
Member of team that obtained a complete dismissal of an over $50 million lawsuit asserting claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraudulent inducement, negligent misrepresentation, and gross negligence against a real estate investment company and its managing principals arising from the parties’ joint investment in a real estate development project in Miami, Florida.

Obtained dismissal of all claims alleging a litany of fraud, breach of contract, and other torts claims on behalf of a global product and branding licensing agency and one its employees, who served as the licensing agent for a global media conglomerate.  The plaintiff sought damages of over $30 million from both the licensor and its agents arising from the alleged breach of a multi-million dollar licensing agreement for hair extensions.
