Veronica Montalvo is an associate in the firm’s New York office.  Her practice focuses on commercial and complex civil litigation in both state and federal courts, including environmental, antitrust, employment, trade secret and other disputes.  She has acted on behalf of healthcare and pharmaceutical companies, internationally-recognized brands, states and many other firm clients.
 
Representing JPMorgan Chase Bank in an adversary proceeding brought by the unsecured creditors’ committee in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York for the return of $1.4 billion in payments made by the estate of General Motors to the bank and other secured creditors of General Motors.

Representing the state of Ohio and Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost in litigation against DuPont and its spin-off Chemours Co. over the company’s decades-long discharge of a perfluorinated chemical (PFOA) from its Washington Works Plant in Parkersburg, West Virginia into Ohio and seeking to recover all past and future costs to investigate, remediate, and restore lands and waters of Ohio contaminated by PFOA, as well as damages and equitable relief.

Member of the team that successfully obtained a favorable settlement in a trade secret misappropriation dispute brought against a data center provider competitor.
