TAHIR L. BOYKINS Associate
Tahir Boykins is a litigation associate focusing on commercial and complex civil litigation in both state and federal courts, including employment, consumer protection, privacy and trademark disputes.  Tahir has significant experience in efficiently managing all phases of complex litigation, including: drafting complaints and responsive pleadings; drafting discovery and dispositive motions; conducting and defending fact and expert depositions; and oral argument.

Tahir is a valued team player, a dedicated professional who thrives in the face of a challenge, in and out of a courtroom.

Prior to joining Kelley Drye, Tahir was a student prosecutor for the United States Attorney’s Office–Eastern District of New York.

Member of the litigation team representing online retail company in an FTC investigation regarding an alleged Mail Order Rule violation.

Represent entertainment and media companies in litigation and mediation regarding a Digital Millennium Copyright Act claim.

Draft various memoranda of law in representation of publicly traded marketing company in lawsuits alleging violation of California’s Restrictions on Unsolicited Commercial E-mail Advertisers.

Member of the litigation team representing the San Diego Unified Port District in litigation filed in the Southern District of California that seeks costs, injunctive relief and damages for navigational impacts and injuries to the natural resources of the San Diego Bay arising from bay-wide PCB contamination.

Pro Bono

Tahir has worked on several pro bono cases conducting depositions, attending jury selection, participating in court conferences and settlement conferences.
