Scott Fleischer is an associate in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice group in the firm’s New York office.  His practice primarily focuses on the representation of creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, including landlords, official committees of unsecured creditors, and vendors.  Scott has been involved in numerous retail and restaurant bankruptcy cases in which he represented real estate owners and managers and has addressed the full spectrum of issues facing those parties, including bankruptcy and real estate matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Scott represented several Chapter 7 Panel Trustees in all day-to-day matters, including facilitating the Section 363 sale process, pursuing avoidance actions, preparing Rule 9019 motions, attending hearings and Section 341 meetings, analyzing and objecting to proofs of claim and recovering property of the estate.
