Sarita Matheson is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property group in the Chicago office. Her practice focuses on patent litigation and counseling with a particular focus on patent litigation. Sarita recently completed a clerkship in the Fourth Judicial District of Minnesota.
She was a summer associate at a large IP boutique where she examined over 600 patents for validity and reviewed patent litigation post-trial material and analyzed legal issues for appeal.
In addition to Sarita’s IP background, she was a 2015 Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellow in Minneapolis, MN, where she represented vulnerable children before government agencies and administrative courts.
Sarita volunteers at the Constitutional Rights Foundation Chicago and has volunteered at the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota.
