Raphael Katz is an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on litigation.
During law school, Raphael was an active member of Cardozo’s tech startup clinic where he provided a range of legal and business strategy services to new technology-based companies. As a member of the clinic he had hands-on experience dealing with intellectual property, corporate, contract and labor and employment issues.
Before working as a summer associate at Kelley Drye, Raphael was a corporate law clerk in the Melbourne office of a global law firm, and worked alongside the CEO of a leading adtech startup.
Prior to his admission to law school, Raphael worked as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Yeshiva University in New York City, and as a Legislative Fellow for the Orthodox Union, the nation’s largest Orthodox Jewish umbrella organization, providing administrative, legislative and constituent services.
