Monica Kulkarni is a law clerk in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and focuses on advertising and marketing, data privacy and information security, product safety, and other consumer protection law matters.
Monica served as a judicial extern to the Honorable George L. Russell, III of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She was also previously with Kelley Drye as both a law clerk and paralegal. While working as a law clerk Monica was seconded to a major sports equipment company to assist with cybersecurity and data privacy matters.
Monica is not admitted to any Bar. She is practicing under the supervision of principals of the firm who are members of the D.C. bar.
Monica is a legal volunteer for the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts where she helps provide legal services to artists, musicians and creative businesses in the Baltimore area.
She was a teacher and volunteer for the Resilient Women’s Organization in Kisubi, Uganda.
Monica received the William P. Cunningham Award from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. The awards are presented annually to graduating students selected by the faculty for exceptional achievements and service to the school.
