Molly Rao is an associate in the firm’s New York office. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation involving patent and trademark law.
Molly has assisted substantially in the preparation of numerous depositions and federal court hearings, including proceedings before the DOJ and Federal Reserve Board (FRB), and has experience taking and defending depositions of present and former company employees. Overall, her past academic and professional experiences allow her to effectively handle a broad range of technologies and issues in complex commercial cases.
Molly has experience handling patent litigation matters in federal actions, including representation of multinational generic pharmaceutical manufacturers in the following cases:

Molly has worked on several pro bono matters. She successfully handled drafting an appeal on behalf of the Corporation Counsel of New York, which was unanimously affirmed
by the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department. Molly also actively works with the organization HerJustice to help navigate women through the legal system to obtain orders of protection and/or judgments of divorce.
