JORDAN A. RODRIGUEZ Senior Associate
Jordan Rodriguez is an environmental litigator with a wide range of experience, adept at handling the massive documentary burdens of big cases as well as the more arcane points of law and procedure.  Jordan’s clients include several state attorneys general and one of the largest private landowners in the state of Texas.  He is especially at home drafting dispositive motions, and puts his training in philosophy and the classics to use in winning briefs that marry sharp, analytical reasoning with tight, persuasive prose.  Not one to shrink from a challenge, he has gone toe-to-toe with the Department of Justice and several of the country’s biggest corporations.

Jordan also enjoys helping clients navigate issues at the intersection of law and policy.  As Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s policy advisor in 2019-2020, Jordan drove many of the Governor’s regulatory reform initiatives to reduce redundant regulations and eliminate anti-competitive occupational licensing laws.  He also worked closely with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and state lawmakers during the 86th Legislative Session.  Jordan continues to fight for common sense regulatory reform through his pro bono practice, writing amicus briefs on behalf of entrepreneurs facing arbitrary laws and regulations that interfere with their right to earn an honest living.
